In short: RippleCom has no direct integration with Onview. The two work side by side through email. Clients’ WhatsApp messages arrive in the office mailbox and the staff member replies by email. With an archiving connection such as AnnTac or OpenDIS Cloud, those messages end up in the client file in Onview, just like other email. Profez Bewindvoering works with Onview and uses RippleCom alongside it.
A client sends a WhatsApp message at half past seven in the evening: “Can I get 40 euros extra for the dentist?” The next morning the request is in the office mailbox, with amount, reason and file number. The staff member opens the file in Onview, assesses the request and replies from the email. The client reads the answer in WhatsApp.
Onview stays the client file. Email stays the workhorse. WhatsApp is how the client gets in touch.
Onview is a web application by OnView B.V. for financial administration, budget management, debt assistance and mentorship in the Netherlands. Offices manage client files, payments and correspondence in it.
Through email. RippleCom puts every WhatsApp message from a client into the office mailbox as an email. The staff member simply replies by email and the client receives the answer as a WhatsApp message.
Onview itself sends email through a shared or personal mailbox, for example via Microsoft 365. This is described in the explanation of the Onview mail connection (in Dutch). So the office staff already work with the same mailbox in which the WhatsApp messages arrive.
There is no direct technical integration between RippleCom and Onview. RippleCom does not read or write anything in Onview.
As an email, in the same way as other email. Onview keeps files per client in a folder structure with documents (in Dutch).
For incoming email, Onview works with archiving programs. According to Onview, AnnTac also archives emails with attachments in the client file. OpenDIS Cloud links emails and documents to the right file.
If the office uses such a connection, a WhatsApp message ends up in the file just like any other email. Without such a connection, you keep the message the way the office keeps email today.
In Mijn OnView, a client can make a payment request: an amount, an account and a reason. The office handles the request in Onview. This is described in the explanation of payment requests (in Dutch).
Not every client logs in to a portal. With RippleCom, a client asks for extra money via WhatsApp. RippleCom asks for the amount and the reason and puts the complete request in the email. The staff member handles it in Onview, like any other request.
At Profez Bewindvoering, 90% of the questions about extra money now arrive separately as a money request (RippleCom’s own measurement). Read more in the article about money requests in financial administration.
Onview has a telephony module that links calls to client files through the Linfosys telephone system. This is described in the explanation of telephony in Onview (in Dutch).
RippleCom brings calls, WhatsApp and SMS together on the office number. If an office uses the Onview telephony module, we look at the best setup together.
The client sends messages the way he is used to. The staff member works in email and in Onview, as always. There is no new system to log in to.
Money requests arrive complete, so the staff member needs to call or email back less often for missing information. Read also how WhatsApp and email work together in financial administration.
